The process

The first stage is preparing the area and removing the existing surface to the required depth of 250mm. After all spoils are removed from the site, we create the first compacted sub base using 150mm of type 1 MOT. This then allows us to install any desired edging if required.

The next stage is the second sub base We install 80mm of AC-14 Open Surf tarmac which is compacted thoroughly. The open graded structure provides permeability allowing water to drain through.

The third stage is the installation of resin. This consists of combining resin and aggregate in a forced action mixer , creating a mixture which is trowelled onto the prepared base to form a smooth , even and durable surface.

Your new driveway is finished but you need to leave it for 48 hours before using it. We provide full after care and maintenance ensuring longevity , optimal performance and your driveway looking its best.
